Our long-cherished dream has come true as we can showcase the possibilities inherent in traditional sparkling wine production in Etyek. The terroir, similar to that of Champagne, almost demands that those who cultivate it make sparkling wine from its fruit, and we do not resist this call.

ETYEKI KÚRIA Méthode Traditionnelle
The queens of sparkling wines are made using traditional methods. Their natural bubbles, creating a rich flavor profile, develop during the secondary fermentation of the base wines in the very bottle that reaches the consumer’s hands. Traditional sparkling wine production requires special expertise, patience, and constant attention. The perfectly chosen harvest time, 24-36 months of aging, consistent temperature, humidity, lighting conditions, and periodic shaking are all components of the highest quality. Our head winemaker is supported by a sparkling wine expert from Champagne. This careful approach has become a prestigious hallmark of classic sparkling wine production in Etyek, where we aim to play a leading role, much like in winemaking.
Etyeki Kúria Sparkling Estate
Traditional sparkling wine production requires time, place, and expertise. Living in close cooperation with nature, we have patience and time on our side, and we keep our expertise up to date through active and continuous learning. Since 2024, we have had a dedicated location, as our winery moved closer to our vineyards, allowing us to convert the former wine cellar into a sparkling wine cellar. On the old foundations of our former winery in Etyek Öreghegy, we now produce sparkling wine and have established the Etyeki Kúria Sparkling Wine Estate, which today serves not only for sparkling wine aging but also functions as an event venue, visitor center, and accommodation, and is home to our restaurant named Brut 21.
